This and the COVID-19 pandemic (2020-22) both led to a transformation of the Capricorn themes of success, status and wealth. Remote and digital work increased due to distrust in banks and the fear and inability to connect due to social distancing. During the pandemic especially, economic, healthcare and supply chains were tested and transformed.

The Pluto in Capricorn transit saw the destruction and transformation of work, career and status in addition to the rise in big tech and rich billionaires, for example Google, Apple, Facebook, TikTok and Amazon etc.
Capricorn rules hierarchial corporate structures whilst Pluto brings hidden control. Algorithms allowed corporations and social media to manipulate the viewer according to their interests.
